IELTS is done by those who want to get good results and want to study abroad.
If you can, try to complete IELTS before completing your BSc / Bachelor degree. And IELTS course has to be done in British Council, there is some cost for it, and you have to arrange it yourself. The IELTS exam has 4 steps respectively.

IELTS Listening
This step contains 40 questions. You have to answer 40 questions in 30 minutes. At this stage, the hearing skills of the examinee are mainly observed. The test is taken by listening to a speech or conversation. You have to answer from what is heard. However, once a speech or conversation is played here.
IELTS Reading
In the reading part, you have to write the answers to 40 questions in 60 minutes. In this step, the examinees have to read 3 passages and find the answers to 40 questions from there.
IELTS Writing
Writing usually has two steps.
1.The first step is to write a diagram / chart in your own language. In this case the allotted time is 20 minutes. You have to present in your own language at least 150 words. This is especially for academic examinees.
2. On the other hand, for general examinees, it is allowed to write an essay on any subject in 40 minutes. This writing should be written in minimum 150 words.
In this step, the ability of the examinees to write freely is measured. However, the rules are divided into two parts. Separate rules and time are applicable to academic and general examinees.
IELTS Speaking
This part is 12-15 minutes in English. Here are 3 steps. In the first step, questions are asked about one's identity, family, friends, leisure time. The second step is to talk for 1-2 minutes on any topic, the third step is to talk to the examiner for 5-6 minutes on the specific topic.
How to register for IELTS?
You must register to take the IELTS exam. You can visit the IELTS test centers in your area. Talk to the information desk staff there to find out all the details of the registration. Or you can apply online by visiting this link www.ielts.org. But not all test centers accept online registration, so it is better to go to the test center in person and find out.

2 recent passport size color photos. Do not use pictures older than 6 months. Use pictures that clearly show your appearance in the picture. Take your time to take pictures by taking off your glasses. Write your name with a pen on the other side of the picture.
If you don't have a passport, make a passport quickly. Because IELTS registration requires a passport. You can take a photocopy of your passport when you go to the registration center.
If you want to send your IELTS score to any university or college then you have to specify the name of that university / college in the application form.
You have to go to the specified center and pay the prescribed fee and submit the registration form.
IELTS exam preparation

অথার্ৎ বিদেশে উচ্চ শিক্ষা নিতে চাইলে আপনি IELTS এ পরীক্ষা দিয়ে একটা সার্টিফিকেট নিতে পারেন কারণ অনেক দেশে পড়তে হলে এই স্কোর বাধ্যতামূলক। এরজন্য কোচিং করা এবং বিভিন্ন আইলস প্রিপারেশন বুক পড়তে হবে।

IELTS Writing
রাইটিং এ সাধারণত দুই ধাপ থাকে।
প্রথম ধাপে কোনো ডায়াগ্রাম/চার্ট নিজের ভাষায় গুছিয়ে লিখতে হয়। এক্ষেত্রে সময় নির্ধারিত ২০ মিনিট। নুন্যতম ১৫০ শব্দে নিজের ভাষায় উপস্থাপন করতে হয়। এটি বিশেষত একাডেমিক পরীক্ষার্থীদের জন্যে।
এই ধাপে পরীক্ষার্থীদের মুক্ত হস্তে লিখার যোগ্যতা পরিমাপ করা হয়।তবে দুই ভাগে নিয়ম বিভক্ত।আলাদা নিয়ম ও সময় প্রযোজ্য একাডেমিক ও জেনারেল পরীক্ষার্থীদের।
IELTS Speaking
এই অংশটিতে ১২-১৫ মিনিট ইংরেজিতে কথা বলতে হয়। এখানে ৩ টি ধাপ রয়েছে। প্রথম ধাপে নিজের পরিচয়,পরিবার, বন্ধু, অবসর সময় এসব নিয়ে প্রশ্ন করা হয়। দ্বিতীয় ধাপে যেকোন বিষয়ে ১-২ মিনিট কথা বলতে হয়, তৃতীয় ধাপে পরীক্ষকের সাথে ৫-৬ মিনিট পরীক্ষকের সাথে নির্দিষ্ট বিষয়ে কথোপকথন।
কিভাবে IELTS এর জন্য রেজিস্ট্রেশন করবেন?
IELTS exam এ অংশগ্রহণ করার জন্যে আপনাকে অবশ্যই রেজিস্ট্রেশন করতে হবে। আপনি আপনার আশেপাশের IELTS test Centre গুলোতে যেতে পারেন। সেখানের information desk staff এর সাথে কথা রেজিস্ট্রেশনের সমস্ত খুঁটিনাটি বিষয় জানতে পারবেন। অথবা আপনি অনলাইনেও আবেদন করতে পারবেন এই লিঙ্কে গিয়ে www.ielts.org। কিন্তু সকল পরীক্ষা কেন্দ্র অনলাইন রেজিস্ট্রেশন গ্রহণ করে না, তাই স্বশরীরে পরীক্ষা কেন্দ্রে গিয়ে খোঁজ নেয়াই উত্তম।
Registration করার জন্যে যা যা প্রয়োজনঃ
২ টি সম্প্রতি তোলা passport size এর রঙ্গিন ছবি। ৬ মাসের বেশি পুরনো ছবি ব্যবহার করবেন না। ছবিতে আপনার চেহারা স্পষ্ট বুঝা যায় এমন ছবি ব্যবহার করবেন। ছবি তোমার সময় চশমা খুলে ছবি তুলবেন। ছবির অপর পাশে কলম দিয়ে নিজের নাম লিখে দেবেন।
পাসপোর্ট না থাকলে দ্রুতই পাসপোর্ট বানিয়ে নিন। কারণ IELTS এর রেজিস্ট্রেশনের জন্য পাসপোর্ট লাগবেই। রেজিস্ট্রেশন সেন্টারে যাওয়ার সময় পাসপোর্টের ফটোকপি নিয়ে যেতে পারেন।
যদি আপনি আপনার IELTS স্কোরটি কোন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় অথবা কলেজে পাঠাতে চান তাহলে এপ্লিকেশন ফর্মে সেই বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়/কলেজের নাম নির্দিষ্ট করে উল্লেখ করতে হবে।
নির্দিষ্ট সেন্টারে গিয়ে নির্ধারিত ফি জমা দিয়ে রেজিস্ট্রেশনের ফর্ম জমা দিতে হবে।
আইইএলটিএস (IELTS) পরীক্ষা প্রস্তুতি
এই প্রস্তুতি যে সম্পূর্ণ কোচিং নির্ভর তা নয়। কোচিং-এ শিখিয়ে দেওয়া হয় কিছু টেকনিক বাকীটা পুরোই নিজের উপর নির্ভর করে। কোচিং ছাড়াও বাসায় বসে ইন্টারনেটের সাহায্য নিয়েও IELTS প্রস্তুতি নেওয়া সম্ভব। শুধু দরকার ইচ্ছা বা কমিটমেন্ট। তারপর প্রস্তুতি শেষে নিজের লেভেল বোঝার জন্য যে কোনো জায়গায় মক টেস্ট দেওয়া যেতে পারে। এটির ফলে যা হবে, পুরো প্রক্রিয়াটির সাথে পরিচিত হওয়া যাবে।

পরিশেষে এইটুকুই বলব, (আই ই এল টি এস) করার মাধ্যমে যে শুধু আপনি বিদেশে যাওয়ার জন্য ব্যবহার করতে পারবেন তেমনটা নয় । জীবনের সকল ক্ষেত্রে কাজে লাগবে।
